This success on the field and court begins with a high quality learning environment, the college and entire athletic department is fully committed to providing the most efficient and effective support for all student-athletes to help them achieve a first class education.
The Bobcats athletic academic advisor provides academic, educational and personal development support for more than 80 Frontier student-athletes.
Frontiers academic services include:
• Individualized advising with student-athletes
• Supervised structured study
• Free Tutorial assistance
• Academic performance monitoring
• Early registration
In addition to the above duties, an advisor compiles and submits eligibility for the NJCAA and works with compliance officers from NCAA schools in helping student athletes transfer to the next level.
Located in the Learning Resources Center, both the Bobcat Athletic Learning Center is open year-round for the convenience of the student-athletes. The Learning Resources Center is equipped with state-of-the-art computers and academic resources to assist our student-athletes in their studies. On average, student-athletes are required to spend 4-5 hours in the academic facilities each week, with tutors on hand at all times to help with any subject.
